ESPN hiring NFL beat writers

    He confirmed it through his Twitter account. One of the many beat reporters that ESPN is going to hire as a part of their plan to have a beat writer for each NFL team.

    Not sure if it got posted or not but I hear they hired Jeff Legwold of the Denver Post to cover the Broncos.

    Ditto for Mike Rodak (late of ESPNBoston.com) moving over to the Bills beat.

    Have not heard that one. If so ... good for Jeff, though he had a byline in the Post this morning. Not that that means he's not going.

    I was told by a reliable Post colleague this afternoon that Jeff was headed to ESPN.

    John Keim leaves the Washington Post after four weeks to be the Redskins writer at ESPN.

    I'm guessing ESPN's bloggers from last year are staying in their home cities to cover those teams, so you can fill those in.

    Not necessarily. Williamson is based out of Denver and they still hired Legwold.

    i thought he was out in the Oakland area now, but I could be wrong.
