ESPN: Favre won't apply for reinstatement yet

    We're talking about a guy who's done more for this franchise than Bart Fucking Starr. The Packers should start him, trade him or release him. Of course, the front office hates the idea that he would play for another team, but why should he retire if he doesn't want to? Especially considering he has a valid contract and there's demand for his services.

    If I'm the Packers GM, the second he applies for reinstatement, I trade him to Oakland and dare him to report.
