ESPN contraction on college football sites

Ok, so I know ESPN has pulled back on having people cover all the big college football programs, opting for a national blog format, no message boards, and less day-to-day coverage.

Here's my question, and really I hope I'm wrong to suggest this, but does that mean some of those people who were hired for team coverage and/or recruiting will be scaled back?
