Saw this via PFT. Not a bad lineup to start with:

Reiss is a damn good get. They'll have quite the solid lineup.

They could just call it ESPN Douche instead.

Ever since Simmons went podcast-only, there's a decided lack of Sawx, Pats and Celts copy on the site. Why, the whole network has ignored the Sox all summer.

They've been a pretty indistinguishable team all summer. Good start and now really just plodding along.

Hard to say they've been ignored though.

I'd like to think he (or she) meant to post that in blue.

Simmons said earlier this week that he will not be writing exclusively for ESPN Boston, but that, if "one of my columns is about the Sox, Patriots or Celtics it will go up on the Boston site."

    IF? ???

You've got to allow for the possibility of another column about Almost Famous.

If this site had been born 10 years ago, Simmons would have been in heaven. Now it's probably a letdown. Writing exclusively there would be preaching to the choir.

Trying to get ahead of ESPN sprawl and registering espnbakersfield.com and espndesmoines.com now. Bet I can get five figures each!
