For some reason, I don't think h20angel will be fielding anymore questions.

And what exactly is Poynter's "agenda"? Better journalism? How dare they.

    Diversity's a legitimate concern.

But in Poynter's eyes, diversity considerations trump everything. And that ain't right.

The only other major media concern which trumpets diversity as shrilly and relentlessly as Poynter on their pages and/or websites is USA Today.

Just trying to help share some stuff I thought sports journalists would find useful...

As far as the ESPN event, I'm personally interested in it as an opportunity to have a conversation about some important issues facing sports in a journalistic context -- with some big names who share a lot sports news. And I wanted to make sure all of you had the chance to join the convo.

For those of you looking for something for free (most of the stuff on the Poynter site is)...there will be a live chat/webinar tomorrow at 2 p.m. with Roy Peter Clark, Jemele Hill, Dave Kindred and Buddy Martin.

    Here's that link:

Clark, Hill, Kindred and Martin should be getting star billing, instead of those foofs from The Worldwide Leader.

Some curiousity about what you're going to get, there, yes.

    Unlike the WWL gang.
