As long as Peter Ngammons works there, I'll rest easy.

    That's fucked up, man.

But I will admit I've made one of those cracks, too.

While reading an AP story for the paper, I made a comment about Hawking. HejiraHenry wondered aloud what Hawking's IQ is?

I replied, "I don't know about that. But I know what his time in the 40 is."

I loved Emmitt Smith as a player but he was horrible as a broadcaster. I enjoyed both his playing career and his broadcasting career but for two totally different reasons. Great player, comical broadcaster.

Now if only NBC got rid of The Bus.

    Nice guy.

    No real insight.

Now only if NBC never hired that guy from Detroit. MM

My sentiments exactly. He's my all-time favorite pro athlete, because I followed him from high school, through UF and the NFL. But the more I read/hear about him, and especially the more I see him embarrass himself on TV, the more the image is tarnished. Good riddance.

    This are unaspectable.

  12. Great comment from Deadspin:

Emmitt thinks it's tough to be terminatored, but he's gonna shoulder on.
