As much as it's become a staple of journalism, the use of "gate" as a suffix to the scandal du jour has been hackneyed since the mid-'70s, so you have a point there. It should be abolished.

 

In this case, I think it may have something to do with mastergate.

Someone spied on her in a hotel room through a fucking peephole. Nobody knew who filmed it until time went on. When some Patriots film guys spied on the Jets with video cameras it was called "Spygate." And yes, there were boobs as well.

 

$10 million? Give her $50k and move along.
