Scott Toilet Tissue now $1.07/roll at my local grocery, which is NOT a gouge joint.

Remember $0.09 in the late sixties . . . 900%+ inflation, in forty years.

Right now, gasoline isn't close to that.

 

Dude, splurge on the good stuff. Your taint will thank you.

 

Keep buying it by the roll and you deserve to be gouged.

I buy never less than a 12 pack and spend never more than $5.99 for the whole pack.

I just paid $4.99 for a 12 pack of Charmaine.

Toilet paper is one their favourite loss leaders. Everyone discounts the stuff.

 

You can always walk somewhere if you have to. You can only air dry the bum so often, though.

 

Why is bug roll so cheap and newsprint so expensive?

 

Understand that, and have followed those guidelines for years.

Re Charmin: that stuff doesn't come in 1000-sheet increments.

 

I've mostly been poor in my life, but TP is the one thing I won't skimp on. Charmin Ultra or bust. If you have to wipe your ass with sandpaper, there's really no point in living.

 

AB, was the same way when I lived on my own. Everything else I bought was cheap, but I couldn't fathom buying cheap TP.

 

People who skimp on their toilet paper scare me.
