    You're right. I assumed since it wasn't the sports editor position advertised he was staying. Silly me.

    This position was everything I hoped it would be when I left college, and I still feel the same way. Whatever you want to cover, it's there, just go get it. Kerrville is not exactly a social mecca, but the people are great and the golf is cheap. I don't recall a single instance where I woke up and said, "I don't want to go to work today." That, to me, qualifies as a pretty solid job.
