The Wire is one of the best television shows I have ever seen.
That season four was magic; from the opening with Snoop in a 'Home Depot' to the final scenes.
    Television at it's finest.

"Deadwood?" No cocksucking acting nominations? Just the usual technical honors for the hooples who handle lighting, costumes, hair, etc.? May the powers that be end up eyeless and rotting out in the thoroughfare like Captain Turner.
Mrs. Terrier is even more outraged: both of her TV boyfriends (McShane and Michael C. Hall) got snubbed.

Not trying to get carried away or anything, but The Wire, to me anyway, is an important show. I've never seen anything else like it. Sure, it's not for everyone. There's a shitload of violence and profanity, but these same voters who laud The Sopranos while completely ignoring one of the finest shows ever are either complete morons or they've never watched a single episode. Fuck the Emmys. But, you know, glad to see 'Two Has Beens and a Fat Kid' get some love.
