Emmitt Smith is committing capital murder on the English language

I know this has been discussed all over the Interdoohickeys but I've never heard a grown man butcher the English language like Emmitt Smith. I mean, this goes well beyond the stereotypical dumb jock and into illiterate territory

That's part of the reason why I avoid ESPN like the black death.

 

They always try and go for these "big" hires like Emmitt, which simply never work out. They've got a few guys on their NFL Live crews who could do much better...

Eric Karros isn't bad. He's better than Eric Byrnes, certainly.

I sleep Saturday mornings, so I have no idea on Howard. I would imagine that if he has an IQ north of six he's better than Emmitt.
