I actually prefer his rendition of My Way to Sinatra's.

And you have written some great fucking music!

Here's a brief schedule of some Elvis stuff this week on TVLand:
Elvis by the Presleys: 8 p.m. Thursday
    68 Comeback: Noon, Friday
Elvis and Me Part 2: 8 p.m. Friday
The Aloha concert: 8 p.m. Sunday
    Elvis on Tour: 8 p.m. Aug. 26.

And on Thursday, Turner Classic Movies is playing Elvis stuff all day. While most of his movies are borderline crap, there will be some good stuff on:

Elvis: That's the Way It Is: 8:30 a.m.
Jailhouse Rock: 7 p.m. (Elvis' best movie)
Viva Las Vegas: 9 p.m. (Ann-Margret in her prime!)

I watched "Elvis Lives: The 25th Anniversary Concert" on my local PBS station last night. That's the one where they show Elvis from the Aloha '72 and Vegas Hilton '73 concerts on the big screen, but with a live band, backup singers, etc. playing along to EP's vocals. It had a great version of "How Great Thou Art" and "American Trilogy" on it.

TV Land should show the '68 comeback and Aloha back-to-back. I'm really interested in the TV Land show "Myths & Legends" they're doing Thursday about Elvis. Wish it was longer than 30 minutes though.

That's The Way It Is is very good. Powerhouse version of "Bridge Over Troubled Water".
