Eli Manning retires

    Since 2009, the league interception rate has been below 3.0%. Eli Manning for his career is 3.0% and he was below 3% for the last 10 seasons except for the two seasons he led the league in ints and rates of 4.6 and 4.9%. Even when Manning was below league average in int %, he was middle of the pack. He was at or below the median of QBs in the league.

    Neil O'Donnell was pretty great with protecting the ball -- until he threw it to fucking Larry Brown. He twice led the league with lowest INT percentage. But he never threw for more than 17 (!) TDs in a single season. He wasn't gonna win you many games, but he wasn't going to lose them, either. Until he fucking did. I mean, in the 1995 playoffs, he threw 3 TDs and 6 INTs. And they still gave Dallas a game in the SB. He fucking killed them.
