Did Delle Donne actually "come out," and if so, did she do it in that article? It appears that anyone who checked her Instagram profile in the past year would know about her relationship. And the article only mentioned her fiancée -- it didn't have some big reveal.

 

That's why we shouldn't deviate from SJ style and just stick with "Out and Loving It!"

Gingerbread: Not sure why I put bride in quotes. Maybe because in same-sex unions, they don't use terms like that anymore. Maybe because I posted the photo after a 10-hour desk shift and was running on fumes. I certainly wasn't mocking gay marriage.

I only searched for and posted the picture because I covered Ms. Clifton's HS team during its state championship run, and was surprised to see she's engaged to Delle Donne.
