Election 2006 -- Race By Race

    Nope.

    Polls show an abortion ban with exceptions would pass a referendum with 65 percent of the vote.

    This one has none, and is so poorly written that the national right to life groups aren't supporting it, because their greatest fear is it ending up in front of SCOTUS.

    Gay marriage amendment has been up and down, but if it loses it will be because it is exceedingly poorly written, and essentially (at least according to its opponents) takes away all rights from heterosexual non-married couples as well as prohibiting gay marriage.

    Like I've said before, not a lot of geniuses in the SD legislature. And SD voters are conservative, but with a strong libertarian streak. They had an all-Democratic Congressional delegation for years.
