Mexico recaptures drug boss 'Chapo' Guzman: President Pena Nieto | Reuters

Apparently five of his guys killed in a shootout with Mexican marines ...

MEXICO CITY (Reuters) - Mexico has recaptured the world's most notorious drug lord Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman, President Enrique Pena Nieto said via Twitter on Friday, six months after he broke out of a high security prison through a tunnel.

Guzman, who Pena Nieto first nabbed in 2014, also escaped from prison in 2001 after a prior capture in 1993.

Maybe they will assign him to a second-floor cell this time.

According to Twitter, Wolf Blitzer interviewed Dog the Bounty Hunter about El Chapo. Thanks CNN.

Did Dog have a nice chat with El Chapo on the drive back to the police station?

It seems to me as during this guy's last state-paid vacation, his organization realized they could get along without him, and discreetly gave him up at the earliest opportunity.

Will they extradite him to the U.S., to face charges here, where he can presumably be securely held? Or do they keep him there?

I am just relieved he's off the street for the time being. Guy should be executed.
