Neither can the Angels or Tigers, which are knotted up at 0-0 in the bottom of the 10th.

Both teams have combined to go 0-for-about 20 with RISP.

I honestly thought we wouldn't see Bruce until Griffey was shipped out. Fortunately, I guess, Patterson has been stinking it up enough to justify the move.

Still no score bottom of the 12th with one out, but the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim of California of the United States have the bases loaded with one out. Tigers changing pitchers.

I can't wait to hear or read Leyland's comments on Seay's performance.

Look it up in the Freep. It will be right next to the ginormous Red Wings ad on the front page of the sports section.

Fuck off. It was a sarcastic reference to Sportscenter's addiction to the word "walk-off."

No thanks for comin' out, assface.

A four-pitch, bases-loaded walk in the bottom of the 12th?
    Jimmy's gettin' upset!

He was pretty tame in the postgame interview on FSN-D. Although he did say, all the pitchers pitched great and then mentioned each one, except for Seay.

Again, tho, it's the lack of offense that is killing this team. They are 1-24 when they score four runs or less.

And over in the East, the Jays are 27-16 when they score two or more runs.

I know it's way to early to start this kind of discussion -- I'm usually the one ripping someone for doing it -- but something struck while watching the Mets suck again tonight:

Which second baseman whose last name begins with "U" is the leading NL MVP candidate (at this way too early to discuss stage of the season)?
