They'll be 6 1/2 out after this one. Right about the time a team gives up thinking it's inconsistent, or flawed, as Broadway Joe says, and realizes it's dogshit.

Considering he has averaged fewer than six innings and about 102 pitches per start in his career, 70 through 5 was very good for Kazmir.

He's now at 95 pitches and 10 Ks through 7.

You're assuming LJB that because the Mets are down 3 in the 7th they can't come back and ....
oh, wait, these are the Mets down 3 in the 7th .... dead meat.

He's not coming out for the eighth. Rays half of the seventh took forever. Wheeler's record remains intact.

Oh fuck off. Red Sox Nation can go die in a fire. ;D

Two of the three best teams in baseball are in the AL East. Tampa is one of them.

Add another six-spot in the sixth. Now 16-4.

  9. Brad Wilkerson certainly had lots of us fooled. He's toast - now hitting just .185 in 15 games for Toronto.

  10. So will we be seeing a sequel to the Worst Team Money Could Buy?

Done in Philadelphia. Rockies hold the Phillies to 20.

It might be a moral imperative.

    Loved that book. Still do.
