Kazmir's going nuts on the Rangers, seven strikeouts through three innings.

Dan Wheeler holds the Rays record with 12.

How bad must your franchise suck if Dan Wheeler holds your all-time record for most strikeouts in a game?

Well, until this season, the Rays franchise did. Doesn't mean they're sucking now though. 14-1 run over the last two homestands, and ahead again tonight.

I wouldn't mind seeing the Rays win the wild card, as long the Sox are division winners.

Ponson's remembered who he is. 5-0 Rays on a 3-run homer by Hinske.

Kazmir has 9 Ks through five but, even more remarkably, no walks and only 70 pitches.

  8. And with Pedro Feliz' two-run single, the Fightins now have put a six-spot up on the Rockies in the 4th, making the score 10-4 Phils. When this offense is hitting on all cylinders, there isn't one better in baseball.

Marlins, 6-3 in the seventh. spnited's favorite, Aaron Heilman, is on.

A little late there LJB. Heilman already pitched a scoreless 5th and 6th and struck out 3.
That his one good one for the month of May

For Kazmir, that is a low count through five innings.
