    Any chance Baron goes to the LAT in some capacity? He was in management there in the 1990s.

    Give Jeff Bezos credit for sticking with Baron when he bought the Post. He could’ve brought in his guy, and I’m not sure how it would’ve turned out. Marty was fearless in taking down the Catholic Church in Boston and he was fearless taking on Trump and his cronies.

    Throw in the changes at the top of cable and broadcast news. It's a good time for changeover - I'm hoping the Democratic Party takes the hint and nudges those in safe districts/states to anoint their successors if they wish, but make a graceful exit. Special elections could cost them the majorities.
