Imus was like Dr. Paul Bearer meets Neil Young.

You know, I never heard of this guy until yesterday. And I still don't know who he is. Sounds like I'm not missing much, though.

as if we needed further proof that the only thing that matters in this country is money.

(Proctor&Gamble + Staples) - ad money = no more Imus on msnbc

I'm glad he's off TV for one reason: Whenever I would be awake at that hour and flip on the TV, I'd stumble across his face, which was enough to frighten me.

it's far too early in the day to have to see that.

Didn't Stern get somewhere near $500 million?

Watching a replay of Hardball. I find it incredible that they brought in Armstrong "my opinion for sale" Williams on the panel discussing this.

The Imus situation is parallel to the Bobby Knight situation back at IU a few years ago. Perhaps the warnings weren't a clear for Imus as they were for Coach Knight, but the decision to stop simulcasting wasn't due to just one five-second comment. It was just the tipping point.

HA! And double HA! You, awake at that hour? :D

Yeah, I considered the reappearance of Armstrong -- who is an intellectual 'ho -- to be fairly funny.
