When Imus is on topic, he's worth a listen just because of the caliber of his guest list.

When he's trying to be the I-Man of 25 years ago ... ehhh. Fuhgeddaboutit. There's a reason his show took off nationally after he excised most of the crude bits from it 20 years ago. Unfortunately, he forgets that reason far too often, as he did in this case.

Best scene of that movie. By far.

    He got what he deserved.

    He should pay the consequences.

He ruined what was a great season for Rutgers.

Now most people will talk about them for that idiot's comments instead of talking about a great run that they had so he has to pay the price.

He didn't ruin anything for anyone but his own life. The women of Rutgers basketball team as well as the women of America don't need some bitter old hag like Don Imus to validate or invalidate anything they've ever done. And if the coach of Rutgers could get past her moments of indignation, she should be telling her team that. If she lets one player believe that Imus took anything from them, she doesn't belong working with young adults.

He didn't ruin a great season by Rutgers. They are separate entities. I'm as big of a sports honk as there is. I can separate events. Just because he said what he said I didn't think, "Oh, well then, Rutgers' accomplishment this season sucks cock now." C-Viv's ladies had a great season, and good for them. Imus tried to be funny but instead burned his ass by farting too hard into his lighter.

You're right. Of course, all that time they spent on SportsCenter and PTI and every other show talking about this controversy would have been dedicated to that fine Rutgers women's basketball season otherwise.

Didn't the Sirius stock plummet after they gave Stern his $180 million?

If Imus gets fired from FAN.....he'll have $100 mil in his hands before he steps out of the building.
