Not really. The Bob & Tom Show are on more affiliates across the nation than Imus.

He had to go. I'm sure a lot of Klansmen were great fathers and grandfathers. Yet, they still killed people. Duh

Would rather listen to Imus sing me to sleep at night than listen to those two twatsicles.

I'd rather listen to a car alarm than those two. But the fact remains they are way more popular than Imus. I wonder if they said something like Imus did if it would get so much national attention?

Everyone got what they wanted. Everyone got their wish. Good. But, we're still all losers across the board with this.

He will be on satellite radio and Stern and him can take shots at each other.

    Time to move on.

Just to shift the focus here a little bit, losing Imus is going to be a major blow to WFAN.

I'm not sure if this is still the case, but I remember reading awhile back that the only reason the station was successful was because of Imus, and the syndication money he brought in.

All-sports radio, as a general rule, is not profitable. And WFAN spends huge dollars on rights to various teams, as well as having guys like Sweeney Murdi (sp?) follow them on the road.

All that seems to be made possible by that now lost revenue.

Be interesting to see if there are cutbacks and layoffs in the wake of it.
