    Settle down. I understand why you did it but at the time it seemed like an odd thing because I had just mentioned Harbaugh and Kramer and the link you provided was a wiki page. From my point of view it was weird.

    The reason people bring up the goal-line thing is the comparison of Payton to Sanders. It was one of the things that Payton did extremely well that Sanders did not. Blocking was another. Payton was also a much better receiver.

    Sanders is the most amazing runner I've ever seen, but Payton's overall game made him the better back.

    Payton threw eight touchdowns and had a 39-yard punt. The guy was just an amazing all-around football player.
