ESPN's story said USF is working on bringing in former USF (South Florida) coach Robert McCullum as Sutton's top assistant.

Maybe Sutton just wants to put one more school on NCAA probation. He might just set a new record (or just advance the one he already owns).

  3. Dog him for the drinking if you want and what happened at Kentucky, but that is the only school to go on probation because of him.
The man is severely flawed, and he allowed some things to go on at Kentucky, but he seldom had the most talented teams. He would have won a lot more games (and several national titles) if he had been a chronic cheater.

He checked into a joint for alcohol rehab.

San Francisco is the perfect place for him. The City of No-Bounds Tolerance would hire a felon to an important job, so Sutton and his taking to influential substances is nothing to them.

I don't know ... the hideousness of Gene Keady's wife was a running joke in Indiana for many years. Unless she had some halcyon, non-Medusa period I don't recall, it's hard to see her being mistaken for even the most low-rent of escorts.

Of course how could anyone who had first-hand knowledge of Gene Keady's nether regions not be either hideous or insane? Talk about Medusa, the sight of Keady's Skeletor-ish cock would undoubtedly drive the normal human being to madness.

Assist Sutton with what? Inventing new ways to lose games?

Could be. And maybe they'll all get together with Michael Savage on their off-days.

Maybe he wants six wins to get more credibility.

Sutton's four last "wins" came after his DUI. He was credited because he was "on leave," but still was officially head coach.

Do these extra W's bother anyone else but me?

"Sutton started [his last season at Oklahoma State] needing 19 wins for No. 800 and said he likely would retire at the end of the season even if he didn't reach that mark.

After the Feb. 10 accident, Sean Sutton took over while Sutton was on a medical leave and picked up four wins on his father's behalf but fell two short of 800."

This is what got my eye:

It has also been reported that there were some stuff going on, like violations, player ineligibility, to name a few that has taken place under Evans' watch.

This LOA (leave of absense) is going to be permanent. Gore-Mann must have been making a list, checking it twice, going to find if Evans was naughty or nice, Santa Eddie's coming to town!

Like no one at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, or elsehwere in public life, has had substance abuse problems, or ever been arrested and convicted for DUII and moved on and cleaned up their life?

I hope Sutton has his life turned around. For an interim choice, it's solid.

I second that, micro, but I don't like how the AD is going about it. Sutton is going to meet up with the team before they play Weber State this week. He hasn't even visited the school.

I'm for him gunning for 800, but the AD is hiding more than what she's telling everyone.
