Iron Maiden announces Calgary concert

Calgary - From the stage at Toronto's Air Canada Centre Sunday night, Iron Maiden's Bruce Dickinson made the announcement - the legendary rockers will bring their Back In Time World Tour to Calgary's Saddledome on June 5.

The date is included in a string of Western Canada dates just announced, which also include Vancouver on June 3, Edmonton on June 6, Regina on June 8 and Winnipeg on June 9.

 

I thought Dickinson was dead.

 

Interesting... I arrive in Calgary on June 5th...

 

I almost forgot about that ... I guess I should schedule drinking time with soccer players on the 6th?

 

We'll work around whatever when the time gets nearer...

 

Alright, guys, I think we're ready to lay this first track down. By the way, my name is Bruce Dickinson. Yes, the Bruce Dickinson. And I gotta tell you: fellas.. you have got what appears to be a dynamite sound!

 

Hopefully you didn't cross him off the list.

 

Dickinson is a licensed pilot qualified to fly commercial jets. He's going to be flying the tour plane.
