Screw the big shots. I'm sure there will be plenty of people who won't mind sitting in 10 degree weather for a Super Bowl (The Yankee Bowl, or Bronx Bomber Bowl, or whatever it's called, probably not).

And frankly, especially if it is a taxpayer-funded stadium (which I realize the NY/NJ stadium is not), all the seats, except for charity ones or for players' families, should be up for sale to the general public.

Love this for watching the game on TV; hate this for watching it in person.

I hope they get two feet of snow dumped on them the day of the game and some great team loses to a severely overmatched opponent because of the weather. Just because the debate would be entertaining as hell.

Casual fans don't go to super bowls.

Every one-star motel and restaurant from Hoboken to Nutley will be filled with angry out-of-town sports writers.

Terrible idea - for everyone but the corporations.

Bruce should have held out for a couple more years.

I grew up a mile or so from the stadium. I like the idea, but I can see where it could get....interesting.

Am sure that dome thingy had something to do with it too...

Yeah, because it's so much better when the game is in Tampa.

If they're willing to hold it in San Diego (great city, horrible stadium, horrible traffic/parking) there's no reason why any other city should be eliminated.

Tampa's stadium is a dump as well.

I'd much rather see a game at Lincoln Financial or Heinz Field.

It's pretty bad compared to most NFL stadiums.

It's the Super Bowl. If a bigshot doesn't want to go, he knows 50 people he can give the tickets to and still be a bigshot. But he'll go, it's the Super Bowl.
