    I thought maybe he had signed a recording contract with Sony, with his first single release to be a cover of the Austin Powers hit, "Daddy Wasn't There." ;D

    Just opened my paper this morning after a night out of the newsroom and didn't see a word about Little E signing with Sony.

    Of course, we run a NASCAR page on Fridays that is the first page designed and sent, and we just switched this week to a new design program that has forced us to ignore later news in favor of just getting the paper out on time ... but still, news on Earnhardt.

    We'll take a few complaint calls today, I'm sure.
