    If it's a d_b, I apologize.

Perhaps Marty can hire his son (Brian Schottenheimer, Jets OC) to run the offense.

Schottenheimer is a good coach. No doubt about it.
I really wish he'd been given one more year in San Diego so he could have worn LT into the ground and lost in the playoffs again we could've seen what he'd done with a Super Bowl caliber team.

That said, this has failure written all over it. He's going to be 66 in late September. It's not a long-term solution, unless his son is tagged heir apparent, and he's been around the block a few times.

How many coaches older than 60 or 65 are there in the NFL?

Does it really matter who the coach is? It's the fucking Pirates Lions Browns.

The guy can coach, at least in the regular season. At some point, the odds are he'll finally fucking figure it out in the postseason.

    Or, you know, not.

Sounds like Browns fans have to ask themselves an important question on this one -- do they want false hope, or no hope?

They want Cowher. First-born children are being offered from the Mahoning Valley to the shores of Lake Erie.
