Regardless...I think my opinion on the matter is pretty clear. I don't agree with the rule. I don't like the rule. But since I don't have stars on my shoulders or service on an Armed Forces committee, there's not much I can do about it.

And if you don't live with constant reminders of the reality of "it is what it is," then there's clearly no common ground for us to discuss this.
