Earliest deadlines

    We only have one deadline and it's midnight, although we have something of a 30-minute grace period, but that's because we're horrible at making deadline.

    Generally, the earliest we've had it for the weather was like 11 or 11:30.

    At my old paper in Illinois, I believe we once had an 8 p.m. deadline, but nothing like this.

    It's 10:50 a.m. and I'm getting ready to head into work for our "4 p.m." budget meeting.
