God didn't ever help Shaq with his free throws when he was in Orlando. What's changed?

    Well, obviously, Shaq's a heathen.

Poor, poor Christians. They're so victimized in this country.

First, not that it matters, but I'm not Christian. Second, it's not just Christian. There's a bias against people who take religion seriously, except for exotic foreign religions. It's the only stereotyping that can still be done in polite company.

Whether that's true is arguable, but I'd hardly say that bias is anything close to a majority worth whining about, considering 78 percent of U.S. citizens claim to be Christian and more than 90 percent of U.S. citizens claim to be religious in some form or another. Could be closer to 95 percent.

It's a bullshit persecution complex, and frankly, I'm sick of hearing it.

First, you said it might be true. Second, while Christians might be a majority, that is not who the bias is against. It's against people who have religion play a major role in their day to day lives. That number is far, far smaller.

And how large is that bias, really? Can't be that large, unless it includes a healthy number of people who claim to be religious doing some of the persecuting.

Difficult to measure, but it's the only one that is socially acceptable, which should be unacceptable.

Don't forget the bias against white males. They've had a hell of a time.

All that comes immediately to mind. What would you add?
