I was defending neither man. I was just pointing out that the context within which Dungy has chosen to be a dickhead hurts far more people than the 50 or so sportswriters who have legitimate beefs against Belichick.

 

No, it's not that much different. Discrimination ain't necessarily hatred, but it's in the same ballpark.

And "holding a political position opposing extending legal marriage to same-same couples" is discrimination. It's not "a political position." It's discrimination. Otherwise spelled I-L-L-E-G-A-L.
