Whoever wrote this is a moron. Not sure where it originally came from. The rest of the copycats who added it to their news sites without writing a better headline are even bigger dummies:

SP, if it came through AP, that headline was automatically put up on a number of sites. Those are automated feeds and the headlines on many sites aren't edited. So you get one bad one, you'll see it all over the place.

 

This is what i call a "no shit" headline.

I really hoped that the story was going to be about a damaged tree, truly making it the "dumbest headline ever."

 

Bad, but not the worst. Not quite in the same league as:

"Police raid gun shop, find weapons"

"Patients to sue seven foot doctors"

"Transvestite charged with male fraud"

"Scientists discover crack in Uranus"

"Precinct toilet stolen: cops have nothing to go on"

 

Nope. "Roasted Nuts" is still the worst.

 

This is just a bunch of limbed people judging limbless people as having it harder in life.
