Dumb question: No call list

    And the telemarketers are going to find a way to still call people and do it legally.
    As I said, there's always a way around everything.

    I got a recorded telemarketing call for mortgages on my cellphone the other day. I suppose I should've waited it out and got the company name and reported them since they were breaking two laws at once. Just hung up though . . . first telemarketing call I've gotten in a long time. My name's on the list, plus last time I moved, I "neglected" to give the credit card companies my new phone number. That gets rid of a lot of them right there. One of the companies actually sent me a card saying "We've been trying to contact you with exciting new offers--what's your new phone number?"
