    Probably figured he was safe there. And his column appears to be appropriately named:

    "In the meantime, we will continue to publish his popular outdoor reports in the Sporting Green."

    FWIW, the Chronicle's sports page has always been the Sporting Green. And for the first time in decades, it's being printed on green paper again. One of the benefits of outsourcing.
