Dry skin

    If you use humidifiers, make sure to keep them CLEAN. Really clean. Bacteria can build up, then you're just spewing moist bacteria into your house. I learned this the hard way when I got a nasty case of "humidifier flu."

    In addition to some of the creams mentioned, I like Aquaphor for dry skin. I also take fish oil capsules daily to help from the inside out.

    If you're looking for causes, consider any medications you're taking. Drugs like Lipitor are notorious for causing dry, cracking skin.
