Oh, KEYC, how I miss you. Growing up, you could never quite trust their high school scores. "Wait, did the team that hasn't won in 8 years really beat the No. 2 team in the state?"

They used to have Bob the weather man, who had apparently never been in front of a camera before KEYC hired him. Was by all accounts the nicest man in the world. Not a TV guy. Once slapped a mosquito on his head, during telecast. Mosquito stuck there.

But this was KEYC's greatest programming. Bandwagon. Every damn Saturday night.

In my first market, the Sunday night newsroom staff consisted of three people: The anchor, the sports guy, and the photog. The anchor produced the show, did weather, and even ran the TelePrompter for herself.

That was in a city 70+ markets larger than Mankato.

I remember when Bandwagon came to New Ulm at my first job... the news staff told me I had to write the story, even though I was a deskie at the time...
Only time in my life I've ever written "purt near": in a story.

Wow, that's pretty low to show this on a national talk show without confirmation that she really was drunk.
If it turns out she is not, I would sue CBS hardcore.
Funny for chatroom fodder, not national TV.

She has a nice Minnesota name, Stensrud. I'll give her the benefit of the doubt. And racy? WTF?

She apparently had a negative reaction to a medication. That medication: Smirnoff.
