Not that there's anything wrong with that...

I’ll also add that the boy wearing a dress has me thinking about where, exactly, did the dress come from? Does the boy have a sister and he raided her closet? He certainly wouldn’t fit into his mother’s clothes. Did the boy also take the dress from the neighbor?

 

The dress was one of the presents from the neighbor's house.

 

Yeah, putting on the dress to go to jail... Not a smart decision, little man.

 

He said he was trying to be like his dad. Maybe that's how his dad is dressed in jail...

 

Ok, I'll give you young and drunk, but cross dressing is fraught with potential problems:

Unsure which restroom is appropriate.
Tryout for field hockey team may end abruptly in locker room post first practice.
Tremendous confusion, uncertainty and doubt regarding first Sadie Hawkins dance.
