I am absolutely shocked that this thread has not yet descended into a sinkhole of namecalling.

    For shame.

They did not. The full setlist is available at: http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=5546929. Won't let me cut and paste. I had to get up early this morning and I'm exhausted, but it was sooooooo worth it.

I can't say I'm sorry. I'm not a big fan of that song. Sorry F_B. Cooley did a great job on the wordy "Daddy's Cup" (which I don't love either) despite the speculation that he was drunk(er than usual).

Also, the cover of "Moonlight Mile" has me thinking: What are some of the better Stones covers out there? I'm partial to Phish's "Loving Cup," but that's one of my favorite songs anyways ...

steve earle and the supersuckers do a great version of "before they make me run"

  11. Gram Parsons's "Wild Horses."
    Otis Redding's "Satisfaction."

Don't remember where I read it - maybe liner notes of an Otis Redding best of - but Keith Richards has said he enjoys Redding's version of the song better than his own. It's how he "envisioned" the song being performed.

Back on topic (sort of)... I've not listened much to DBT, but how do they compare with Lucero? Any of y'all familiar witht those guys? They're a nice little southern rock/country outfit.
