OK, SportsJournalists.com, I need help again.

Mrs. 93 and I will be hosting part of a "drink/gift crawl" in a few weeks on our street.

Adults, no kids, will start at a home and have an adult drink and some food. Socialize for about an hour then all walk to the next house for a drink and some food.

We are the fourth of five houses on the crawl, and from what I have heard, people are pretty Vin Bakered at the end of the night, but since everyone is walking, it's not that bad.

We also have people on the crawl bring a gift for a needy kid whose parents might be in jail or not able to give a gift this time of year.

So does anyone have any good drink recipes? This could be for 15-40 people. No idea yet.

I have plenty of booze at the house, but the only thing I will not do is mint. I don't like mint in foods.

Hot or cold, either is fine.

    Southern Cider Punch

    1 bottle [750ml] Southern Comfort
    1 gallon apple cider
    5 cups ginger ale
    3 cups brewed tea
    4 cinnamon sticks
4 whole oranges, studded with cloves

Mix all ingredients in a large kettle. Heat until steaming, but not boiling. Pour into a heat-resistant pitcher or punch bowl. Serve warm.

    Damn, that sounds good.

How the hell do I ratio that down for a taster?

Since yours will be the fourth of five houses and people spend almost an hour at each house, you may want to consider an Irish coffee or some other coffee drink to get people perked up again. Or you could go the other route and finish them off!

I think the coffee is done by another house, but that is a good idea.

    Turkey Frozen Daiquiri

    1 small onion
    2 medium avacados
    1/4 cup sour cream
    1 cup leftover turkey
    4 1/2 oz. rum

Place all ingredients in blender and fill with ice. Blend until smooth. Serve as is or freeze until frozen and scoop out as slush into glasses. Garnish with mint leaves or cranberries.

Your gift should be to bring the needy kid along. It sounds like what he really needs is a few drinks.

That may be the most disgusting drink I've ever heard of .

Negronis are always popular in our house. Very easy to make.

We were guests over the summer at my brother and sister's "gourmet" club - not quite as snobby as it sounds and the food was good.
My brother-in-law made kind of marquerita, pineapple or something, that sounded like it should be awful. It was amazingly good.
    I'll find the recipe.

We did one of these years ago in my old neighborhood. I was so shit-housed by night's end I couldn't tell you a single thing I had to drink.

That's more disgusting than a convention of child snuff porn collectors.
