Maybe another continent for a Friday game?
Instead of giving a team the week off after the game, give them the Sunday before it off, they play on the Friday (or Saturday, depending on which country it was held in), then take the following Sunday off.

I do think this loophole could be used for any NFL expansion to London. Schedule the games at 4:00 P.M. London time on a Saturday and then feed them back to the States on NFL Network.

    Thanks.

Which leads me to wonder how much the NFL could make by selling a commercial free game on Saturday night to HBO, Showtime or even Direct TV. That would be a non-sponsored telecast.
