Bob Barker - "Have your pets spayed or neutered."
Michael Vick - "Got a dog? Let's put it in the pit."

I love Drew Carey, but I'm not sure how long he'll be there. I guess it's tough to picture anyone holding that job for as long as Barker.

He won't last a year before losing the job when somebody posts Youtube video of him cavorting with strippers (quite likely) or perhaps (even more likely) some of the Price Is Right girls.

Maybe he can get John Caponera to be the announcer?

Dave Price is locked up for a long time, I think.
That said, I like this choice.
    A lot.

Yeah, I'm OK with this. My first thought on hearing Bob was retiring was that they shouldn't even bother continuing, but this has possibilities. I think he's got the cuddly nice-guy thing for the older demo that TPIR has to have, plus that Letterman/early Chevy Chase "This is a bunch of bullshit but I'm in on the joke" thing that will appeal to younger viewers.

The key is Drew has to not do the Bob Barker version of the show.
Do the Drew version and and it's got a good shot at succeeding.

That's really well said. He will work well with the college kids and great-grandmothers.

And now, if you're going to try to get in contestant's row, buy a Cleveland Browns jersey.

This is a good grab, but I only worry about how long he will last. If it's two years, we might be done with the show after that.

Someone like Marc Summers woulda been perfect.

Look at all the girlfriends he had on the Drew Carey Show. I think with enough money, anything is possible.
