Drank any good beer lately?

I once thought that way, too, Zeke. However, a trip to Olympia changed my mind. Hefes are great with an orange.

No ice cream in beer, either. It was an accident, and I paid dearly for it.

I had a beer float at an Irish bar in Destin this summer, and it wasn't too bad.

If the beer needs fruit, it's shitty beer. (See Corona.)

If it's good beer, it doesn't need fruit. (See Guinness)

    Here endeth the lesson.

Pyramid Hefe is great without orange and completely different with it.

Well, I was at a minor league game, enjoying the great deal on Labbatt's, and a bit of my ice cream in a helmet dripped into my beer. All I was was dissipating milk and a few sprinkles. That beer was no good. But I paid $3 for it, so down the hatch it went.

Hints of honey and orange? Is it beer or potpourri?

I had about a case of it this weekend. Very good. I noticed no honey or orange.
Love Blue Moon. Got a keg of it for my 50th birthday.

I'm talking about Honey Moon, not Blue Moon. Believe me, I thought the same thing you did. I've always been of the thinking that fruit doesn't belong in beer (or in pizza, which I still believe). But I was surprised. It's pretty good. Even for potpourri.

Yeah, I'm talking Honey Moon (the yellow one?), too, from this weekend.

Yeah, the yellow one. Huh. Maybe my taste buds are weird. I definitely taste the honey, kind of an aftertaste.
Then again, I enjoy a good tomato beer. With olives, even. Makes crappy beer taste better. People just shake their heads at me. No news there. :)

Or mine are, no big deal. I just don't notice that stuff in my beer. Hell, it may have had cherries in it for all I know.
