    If she has a PHD then she's the poster child for the notion that college degrees can be very overrated.

    Agreed. And it really showed an amazing lack of understanding or empathy and a bubbling racism eager to spill out.

    But, personally, I don't care if blacks use the N-word with each other.

    It surprised me to learn that Robert Vaughn, aka Napoleon Solo, has a PhD in communications from USC.

    He's so one dimensional as an actor but he's a good one. I've always loved that name from the Man from UNCLE.

    I remember reading a column years and years ago where the (white) writer wrote how he was standing near some black teenagers using the 'N' word. The writer asked them to stop. When the teens asked why, the writer pointed to his six-year-old son and said that his son was watching them saying the word, and might think it was OK to say it to his black friends at school, too. The teens apologized.
