Jack was electrocuted, around age 7 and drowned in a puddle (what a horrible thing it must have been to have found him).

Mike committed suicide by drug overdose because he was feeling pressured by Fritz to continue in the wrestling business when he clearly did not want to (according to Wikipedia, he just wanted to be a cameraman). He had somehow suffered toxic shock syndrome (usually related to tampon use) and nearly died. He never fully regained his health, but Fritz forced him back into the ring anyways.

Chris actually wanted to be a wrestler but had some sort of thing that stunted his growth. He got in good shape, but was very small and was never going to be a star (late 80s, early 90s when wrestlers had to be huge). He was depressed over that, as well as the deaths of his brothers, and killed himself.

Kerry also was depressed over his brothers' deaths, and according to Bret Hart's book, told Hart that he was planning to join his brothers in heaven. Hart said he tried to talk him out of it. Kerry also was in a motorcycle accident and ended up having his foot amputated. According to legend, during a match, Col. DeBeers had a leg hold on Kerry, and accidentally pulled off his boot, revealing nothing, and freaking DeBeers and the fans out.

Kerry got probation for a drug arrest, but then was arrested again and sentenced to a long prison stay. The authorities allowed him a few days to wrap up some private matters, but Kerry ended up borrowing a gun from Fritz and killing himself.

David's death is still a mystery. Many think it was a drug overdose. The Von Erichs claimed he had enteritis (sp?) because he took a hard kick to the stomach during a match in Japan. Others say he accidentally mixed sleeping pills with liquor.

Kevin (the barefoot one) is still alive and lives in Hawaii.

Not the guy John Dupont killed, though? He was still an amateur.

    The
He usually went by Dave Schultz. He and his brother Mark are two of the greatest US freestyle wrestlers ever. Had a buddy who trained at their club, Foxcatcher (outside Phila), said both were great guys.
