    I really hope that's true since that means a hefty tax bill for this ballhawking turd, even if he refuses to sell it.

    I am not defending this douchebag in particular, but if a Joe Sixpack catches that Arod 3000 ball and decides unequivocally to keep it, does the board still hammer him?

    We are told when lockouts/strikes occur that fans shouldn't take it personally, it's just business. He still comes across as a douchebag but I don't see this as being any different.

    Agreed. Players and owners long ago entered into a "business arrangement" with fans. No room for sentimentality when it comes to fans catching historic baseballs anymore.
