Sorry, markvid, but treatment does not necessarily move you on as if nothing has happened. My sister is going through the treatment now and, after chemo, hormonal injections and radiation, she'd be the first to tell you things have happened. Hair loss, lack of taste buds, extreme exhaustion are some of the things she has mentioned; God only knows what else after said treatments. Let's face it, cancer sucks.

I hope Dorothy's treatments go better.

So sad. I remember seeing Dorothy with the Ice Capades when I was a kid.

You gotta hope that Dorothy's lifelong commitment to a healthy, active lifestyle will help her fight through some of the tougher aspects of her treatment. If it does she'll provide a great lesson in the process.

I know what you're saying, Casty, and most important, I'm sorry she's going through that.
But seeing Peggy Fleming now, you'd never know anything happened to her.
And I hope Dorothy and your sister have the same result.

I will do what I can to nurse her back to health.

    Best wishes, Dorothy.

You were my first crush (OK, maybe my 21st).
