    Players feel compelled to beef-up, or be left behind.
    So, so competitive. Sad, too.

    The positive tests were for a specific diuretic that is on the banned substances list because it is well-known for being used to flush the system of steroids.

    ESPN on its bottom line scroll yesterday mentioned a report concerning the Vikings' Pat Williams and Kevin Williams and Falcons' Grady Jackson with some kind of positive test linked to the doping. Here's a search that brings up a yahoo blogger's item.
