The moral of the story: Prep for your interviews. Especially if you're going for that gotcha question.

 

You'd think if you're having someone on your show you might, at the very least, skim their Wikipedia page or official bio.

What a pointless question to ask. Just having an econ degree does not put you in position to concretely say much about what would have happened without the stimulus. When you ask something that stupid, you deserve to get smacked back like that.

 

It's probably the first thing they reach you in law school: "Never ask a question if you don't already know the answer." Same goes for gotcha interview questions.

 

Contessa Brewer is, without question, the *stupidest* anchor anywhere. She does not have a clue -- period! I should have realized, without clicking on the link, that it had to be her when I read this. How she stays employed after crap like this amazes me.

(BTW, I hated wasting my *1,000th* post on this idiot, but it became a necessity once I saw what she had done!!)
